Q&A: Ethical Entrepreneurs
Right now, there's much talk of sustainability in the fashion industry. In recent years we've seen the rise of the re-sale apps and the vintage store. Likewise in the food and beverage sector there's so many new apps and programs to help restaurants sell their unsold food after-hours. These are just two examples of sustainability and 'ethical' businesses.
After catching some headlines and having coffee with some small business owners, we thought this topic would make a great class.
On May 14th we'll be hosting a Q&A with 'ethical entrepreneurs' to learn more about how local womxn business leaders are challenging themselves to incorporate ethical and sustainable practices into their businesses.
Our four speakers will share their business knowledge and experience, and they'll tell us if these are just trends or best practices. From sourcing sustainable ingredients and materials to paying fair wages and embracing cruelty-free testing - we'll hear from the womxn walking the walk and talking the talk.
We take pictures at our courses so you can share on social media and we can
continue to showcase our community online.
All photos are posted online after class. If you do not wish to have your photo taken please let us know!
